Résumé de l'histoire

« Dans une nouvelle ère où l'humanité colonise l'espace, un jeune homme, Banagher Links, visite avec son collège une station orbitale. Lors de ce voyage, il sauve une jeune fille, Audrey Burn, d'une mort certaine grâce à un robot géant (Gundam). Souhaitant continuer à l'aider, Banagher verra sa vie bouleversée. »

À propos de la saga « Gundam »

Créé en 1979 par Yoshiyuki TOMINO et Hajime YATATE, la franchise « Gundam » est une révolution dans le domaine de l'animation en touchant deux domaines particulièrement sensibles : la cruauté qu'engendre les guerres et la politique. Le tout dans un monde futuriste avec l'utilisation de robots géants.

En trente-cinq ans d'existence, la saga a connu de multiples séries animées avec : « Mobile Suit Gundam » (1979-1980), « Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam » (1985-1986), « Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ » (1986-1987), « Mobile Suit Victory Gundam » (1993-1994), « Mobile Fighter G Gundam » (1994-1995), « Mobile Suit Gundam Wing » (1995-1996), « After War Gundam X » (1996), « Turn A Gundam » (1999-2000), « Mobile Suit Gundam SEED » (2002-2003), « Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny » (2004-2005), « Mobile Suit Gundam 00 » (2007-2009), « Mobile Suit Gundam AGE » (2011-2012) et prochainement avec « Gundam Reconguista in G ».

En plus de toutes ces séries, quatre films d'animation sont sortis entre 1988 et 2010 (Mobile Suit Gundam : Char contre-attaque, Mobile Suit Gundam F91, Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: The Hidden One Year War et Mobile Suit Gundam 00 : The Movie: Awakening of the Trailblazer).
